Gourmet Tortoise Food

Zoo Med’s Gourmet Tortoise Food adds enrichment to your Tortoise’s diet with the addition of dried Carrots, Hibiscus flower petals, and Sweet Potatoes. This food has added vitamins and trace elements.

FEEDING GUIDE: Moisten food with water and allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes in order for carrots and sweet potatoes to become saturated. Feed free choice. Change feed daily. May be mixed with fresh lettuce and other greens for additional variety. Provide clean water at all times. Store feed in a cool, dry area. Never feed moldy or insect- infested feed.

COMPOSITION: Sun dried oat hay, sun dried timothy hay, wheat middlings, almond hulls, whole ground wheat meal, dried carrots, dried hibiscus flower petals, freeze dried sweet potato, sun dried alfalfa meal, calcium carbonate, escarole, endive, monodicalcium phosphate, dried dandelion, sodium bicarbonate, dried yeasts and parts thereof, milled yucca schidigera.

ADDITIVES: Nutritional additives: Vitamin A 4959 IU/kg, Vitamin D3 1984 IU/kg, Organic form of Selenium produced by Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3060 (Selenised yeast inactivated) 0.24 mg/kg, zinc oxide 35.9 mg/kg, manganous (II) oxide 39.5 mg/kg, ferrous (II) sulphate mono hydrate 26.6 mg/kg, cupric (II) chloride dihydrate 3.0 mg/kg, calcium iodate anhydrous 1.5 mg/kg, sodium selenite 0.06 mg/kg, Zinc chelate of methionine (1:2) 24 mg/kg.
